Clinic office hours: 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday. Closed for lunch from 1 until 2 pm.

Our office works on a “by appointment” schedule. Courtesy telephone, email, and text message reminders may be sent. However, keeping an appointment is the responsibility of the patient. To change an appointment, 24 hours notice is required. Fifty Dollars ($50.00) is charged for all broken appointment or cancellations without 24 hours’ notice.

Our staff strives to treat “true” dental emergencies with all due haste. We request immediate notice. During office hours, emergencies are worked into the schedule. After hours, the office can be paged using our emergency number: (336) 260-3713. Patients seen outside of normal office hours are charged one hundred forty nine dollars ($149) in addition to the fees associated with any treatment provided.

Emergencies often arise from ignoring lingering pain or discomfort. It is advisable to seek treatment by contacting our office before symptoms become an emergency.

PAYMENTS: Payment is required at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and CareCredit. PAST DUE ACCOUNTS: Some accounts will be reported to a collection agency or your county clerk for small business claims action.

Our commitment to our patients is to meet or exceed the standard of care recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA). In accordance with the ADA, we believe that X-rays or radiographs are essential to assuring dental health. Our practitioners, however, prescribe radiographs conservatively to avoid unnecessary exposure. The frequency and type of X-ray is determined upon examination of each patient and assessing his or her individual risk of dental disease.

If you as a patient do not wish to have radiographs taken at least every two years or more often as your dental conditions dictate, we recommend that you seek dental care elsewhere. It is our firm belief that we cannot fulfill our commitment to your dental health without this essential tool. Thank you for your understanding.

The American Dental Association (ADA) guidelines recommend visiting a dentist at least twice a year for a checkup and professional cleaning. Our office also recommends a minimum of two visits per year.

One of our staff members will compile your medical and dental history during your first visit. We will then examine your teeth and gums, screen you for oral cancer, make images (X-rays) of your teeth as needed and complete a TMJ (temporomandibular or jaw joint) exam. After we review your dental profile, we will discuss a diagnosis with you. If treatment such as a root canal (endodontics), braces (orthodontics) or oral surgery is needed, we may plan to treat you in our office or refer you to a specialist. We will discuss your options for treatment and fee payment and help you determine the best plan to fit your needs.

During regular follow-up visits, we will examine your teeth and gums, screen you for oral cancer, clean your teeth and make plans for treatment, as needed. We will discuss any pain or problems you may be experiencing and answer any questions you may have.

Please call our office as soon as you determine that you have a dental emergency. We will be glad to work you in to our schedule if you have a dental emergency during regular business hours. It is important to have your dental team examine your teeth once every six months. It is especially important for children to come in early to become familiar with the dental office and procedures.

Our office will educate you on how to properly care for your teeth and your children’s teeth as well. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry states that children should see a dentist when they get their first tooth and not later than 1 year of age.

Plaque (the soft film over your teeth) can be removed by brushing and flossing daily. It is important to visit your Hygienist every six months to remove tartar build-up from your teeth. If tartar remains on your teeth, you may develop a condition known as Periodontal Disease.

Preserving your natural teeth is our goal! Leaving teeth unrestored and decayed will eventually cause loss of a tooth and other conditions such as infection in your body.

We want our patients to have a healthy smile! We offer tooth colored and silver fillings, crowns and bridges; and can help you through the root canal process.

It is an annual membership plan that allows established patients to gain access to routine preventive care at no extra cost and additional services at a reduced cost. With a membership plan, your oral health doesn’t have to take a back seat due to cost concerns.
